Auckland Movie Makers

So You want to know about us? Good, very good.

Membership is currently around 24 but growing. We are all ages, but the average is a bit weighted toward the upper end.

We have some very accomplished moviemakers in our midst. Some have entered and been successful in national and international video competitions. Others produce mostly delightful home videos for family and friends.

Not all members are video producers however. For some, it's just in the blood and although they may not have upgraded to new technology, they still enjoy seeing what is being produced by other members.

We meet at a club room shared by other organisations at 990 Great North Road, Western Springs. (That's opposite Motions Road, behind the big stone gateway.) See map below

The 4th Wednesday each month is the frequency and 7.30pm is the time to be there. Check our programme page above to see what we might be doing.

It might pay to make contact before you visit, to be sure we are not out shooting on location, as we do from time to time.

The club also organizes home workshop groups where club members share their expertise and polish their skills.

Membership is $48.00 per year and includes husband/wife/partner.

Country Membership
Available to New Zealand residents residing 100km or more from Auckland Movie Makers Inc Clubrooms
Subscription is set at 75% of full membership subscription.

Student Membership
Available to New Zealand residents who are full time students
Subscription is set at 50% of full membership subscription.
