The Christchurch Video Camera Club started as the Christchurch Movie Club 51 years ago.  Today film has gone and video tape in all its various formats has taken its place.

The Club today is for people who wish to meet others with a general interest in videography or a more specific interest in some of the Club's activities and programmes.

Our hope is that members can improve the results they get from using their video cameras. Some people join because they wish to learn how to edit  videos they have already taken (for instance, on an overseas trip),  so that they can be shown to friends and family.

 Others join to learn the basics of using a video camera. We have people with all levels of skill and experience and we welcome new  members with all levels of skill and experience.

Some of our members are using the simplest of equipment while others are using the latest computer programmes for editing, titling and putting in music and commentary.
